|Cavaliers Operating Co. Mentorship||
The much needed bye week has finally arrived. I am so excited for it to be here. My wife and I are heading to Puerto Rico to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. My mentorship is coming to a close soon as well, so I spent the day in the office sitting in on meetings. Recently the Lake Erie Monsters, pro hockey team, just partnered with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). The partnership is a great opportunity for the entire Cavaliers Operating Co. because it further increases brand exposure through cross promotional opportunities. The meetings were very informative and exclusive. I was very impressed.
Our social media team sent out media blast targeting organizations who wish to get involved with 50/50 raffle giveaways. I was told that the Gladiators and Lake Erie Monsters franchises normally perform better than the Cavaliers when it comes to in game raffle giveaways. I though that was very interesting.
Today we announced the post game concert of rock band 38 Special. They will be performing after our game on July 18th. It is very interesting how we keep our fans informed. For the concert we will allow fans to purchase special field passes allowing access to normally restricted areas.
Today we made four transactions. As I mentioned yesterday we are a little banged up so with the upcoming bye week, coaches explained the strategy for the season. We have 1 game, bye week, 2 games, then another bye week and we believe that will give us enough time to get healthy enough for a deep playoff run.
Ever since our last matchup versus Jacksonville they have only lost 1 game. They seemed to have figured out their team because they are now top of the AFL in many categories. I have highlighted special characteristics and details of their most successful plays. This is the first week that we will have a bye after playing 13 straight games. The bye week is very much needed because we are are banged up. We still utilize vidswap for film breakdown.
Cavs night was a hit amongst the fans. Today was the day that the Cavaliers would have been participating in the NBA Championships, but everyone came to support in great fashion. We had Cavs colored merchandise for fans available at the team shop for fans to purchase. I do not know the specific number as of now, but I can imagine a lot of people purchased the new looks tonight.
The theme of the Cleveland franchises this year has been All In, we have been promoting the slogan through every media outlet, and now we get to honor each other with a unified uniform combination. We finished up walk through today and with film edits and two transactions.
Today we blasted our Cavs. Night Promo featuring defensive lineman Willie Mcginnis. I was a very exciting promotional video to witness.
